Mark A. Brick, MCR, CGR, CAPS, UDCP, is the president and founder of B&E General Contractors, Inc. Founded in 1985, Mark built the foundation of B&E by representing the remodeling industry in a fair, ethical and professional manner.
Mark places emphasis on a team approach to remodeling, recognizing that the homeowner is a vested member of the team. Working alongside Mark, field and in-house expediters, carpenters and an architectural designer, the homeowner’s needs, desires and opinions are major components of the process by which a remodeling concept evolves into a remodeling success.
In order to continually service and benefit homeowners and team members, Mark places proud emphasis on continuing education. Mark has earned the rank of Master Certified Remodeler (the 51st person in the nation to achieve this hallmark ranking from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, and Universal Design Certified Professional.
Mark has been involved in NARI since 1986. Climbing through the service ranks, Mark was elected President of Milwaukee NARI from January 1999 through December 2000. Over the span of two decades he served on the Board of Directors, the philanthropic NARI Foundation, co-chaired continuing education events, and is the recipient of the organization’s highest professionalism awards.
Mark continued his NARI affiliation on the national level, holding leadership offices and ultimately as the National President from April 2003-2004. Mark has proudly earned awards such as the 2001 Local Chapter President of the Year, 2002 Peter Johnson Image Award and the 2005 Henry Fenderbosch Leadership Award.
Mark proudly recognizes his B&E crews throughout the years, and credits the professionalism and craftsmanship of his company team for the myriad of remodeling awards earned including NARI National Contractor of the Year Award (1994, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011), over twenty NARI Regional Contractor of the Year Awards, and over thirty-five Wisconsin Remodelers’ Awards.
Additional, Mark has been recognized by the Metropolitan Builders Association of Greater Milwaukee with numerous local remodeling awards, 1998 Builder of the Year, and the prestigious NAHB 2001 National Remodeler of the year.
